Print- Rich Franklin vs. Wanderlei Silva is now official for UFC 99
- Joe Lauzon tore his ACL and will be out 12-14 months. A major disappointment considering Lauzon's recent victory over Jeremy Stephens in the main event of Ultimate Fight Night 17.
- Troy Mandaloniz was cut by the UFC. In recent weeks it appears that the UFC is trimming their roster of lower and middle tier fighters if they lose. Perhaps this is the UFC making room for their new Asian acquisitions.
- The Ultimate Fight Night 18 ticket prices have been lowered. The cheapest ticket is now set at $20. Whether this is an indication of slow ticket sales, bad economy or simply the UFC trying to make their debut Tennessee show a success is anybodies' guess.

I’d have to drive from Tampa but I’m considering it (hate flying) when will you ever get to see the UFC live with the best tickets only being $200?
