Penn's camp requests investigation

Stpierrepenn4227ufc94_medium

From Sherdog

B.J. Penn's attorney submitted a formal request for investigation to the Nevada State Athletic Commission on Tuesday surrounding allegations that Penn's opponent, Georges St. Pierre, was illegally "greased up" during their welterweight championship rematch bout last Saturday at UFC 94 "St. Pierre vs. Penn" in Las Vegas.

Now this isn't the same as filing a complaint and is a shrewd move on Penn's part due to this effectively putting the ball in the NSAC court. It also allows Penn to still claim umbrage, and save face, without appearing to be pushing the issue too hard.
