UFC: Undisputed ground game preview

The good folks at IGN have a preview regarding UFC Undisputed's ground game.

For non-MMA fans they often lament the ground game as boring, or that it requires no skill. Well the game developers at THQ wanted to provide 100% authentic MMA grappling and that is certainly what we get. Just check out this diagram, my head is already spinning.

While this is great news for MMA and UFC enthusiasts it also is a little troubling just for the steep learning curve.

From my experience with the controls, there certainly is a hefty learning curve, but I was able to get my head around a few of the intricacies in about a half an hour of play time. The development team touts the ground game as being 100%, and it's pretty damn close to that
