Strikeforce made one prominent roster move in the aftermath of Shamrock vs. Diaz.

Fabricio Werdum has officially signed with Strikeforce.

Werdum is widely considered a top-ten heavyweight. Strikeforce's current heavyweight champion is Alistair Overeem and an eventual match up between these two heavyweights seems inevitable. Werdum previously fought and defeated Overeem in Pride.

Since Tito Ortiz was at the Strikeforce event, there is also the obligatory rumor that Ortiz will soon sign with Strikeforce.

Also, Ortiz had a verbal confrontation with Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Renato ‘Babalu' Sobral, leading to speculation that these two UFC veterans will meet soon.
