Benji Radach no longer has a hand

Benji Radach gave Scott 'Hands of Steel' Smith a run for his money last Saturday. Unfortunately for Radach he shattered his hand in the fight. Radach told MMA Weekly what happened

Basically, you have your pointer finger bone in your hand, and it goes back through your hand and then right behind your hand bone you have this square bone; sometimes your hand bone will go up over it or underneath it. Mine was dead center (when I punched Scott) and it so it just exploded the bone behind it and also broke the hand bone, so I pretty much shattered my hand.

I went in and had surgery on Monday. The doctor put a metal plate in, four screws, and pieced back together the square bone behind the hand bone and put four screws in that. It's healing up right now and hopefully I'll be back to action here shortly.

I guess Radach is going to have to steal Smith's nickname now.
