Chuck Liddell is NOT dating a pornstar

A while back I posted a video blog from adult star Jayden James. In it she discusses her vacation to Cabo with Chuck Liddell. Of course this event caused a great deal of head scratching, considering that Liddell was thought to be engaged. It became even odder when a celebrity dating website had the pair classified as in a relationship. In a new interview with Steve Cofield Liddell sets the record straight and says that Miss James was using him for publicity and that they were never dating and any reports of such a relationship are false. (Personally it might of been smarter for Jayden to go after Brad Penny, after all he is a Red Sox pitcher and baseball is a little more mainstream).

I posted the story and in hindsight I did two things really wrong and they have been bugging me for sometime. First I should of classified it as 'Rumor' instead of 'Off Topic'. Second I should have had the title imply imply the uncertainty surrounding the story. I rationalized my failure of the ladder as an attempt to grab traffic, after all search engines start with titles in making selections. Clearly a failure on my part.

Now in the actual post I feel that I only did an adequate job, if even that, of articulating the uncertainty of the story. Another screw up on my part

Thus, in the interest of full disclosure I decided to post the acknowledgment of my failures and mistakes, with the promise to do a better job.

P.S. on the ladder of blogging mea culpas at least this isn't on the level of veiled racism or reporting on an ambiguous text message and implying infidelity, right?
