How well did the UFC's first event in Tennessee do?

Not that bad. 

TUFN 18 drew 10,267 attendees for a live gate of $626,077. 

Of course the UFC did a little fudging to make the numbers look better. 

UFC Fight Night 18, which took place at the Sommet Center in Nashville, was announced as an official sellout, though the 20,000-seat arena used a modified seating configuration.

So that's why tickets were $20 a pop.

The UFC also gave out several bonuses, 

- Fight of the Night : Tyson Griffin vs. Rafael Dos Anjos
- Submission of the Night : Rob Kimmons
- Knockout of the Night : Aaron Simpson 

All four fighters received $30,000 bonuses. 

Brent Brookhouse asks, why didn't Condit-Kampmann get a Fight of the Night bonuses? Completely agree, almost seems like punitive punishment for Condit not winning and Kampmann coasting in the third round, instead of going for the jugular.
