Josh Koscheck out of UFC 98 due to foot injury

Josh Koscheck was slated to fight Chris Wilson at UFC 98. The Wrestling Observer (via cagetoday) reports that Josh Koscheck sufffered a foot injury and won't be fighting at UFC 98.

Koscheck is recently coming off of a knockout loss to Paulo Thiago, at UFC 95. In the aftermath of that fight it was revealed that he was close to a title shot. Koshcek's bout with Chris Wilson was looked upon as a rebuilding fight.

UFC 98 is set to take place in Las Vegas and with Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida as the main event

I know nothing about the injury, but if it’s some kind of a stress fracture or something of that nature, does Kos’ frenetic fight schedule start to become a concern?

yeah, its weird that no one else is reporting this which makes me feel like it is suspect.

It could be that his pace could be a cause for the injury
