Time Warner potentially dropping HDNet

The lights may finally go out on Japanese MMA.

HDNet, Mark Cuban's MMA-laden television station, is currently in rocky negotiations with Time Warner. The cable provider is threatening to pull the channel from their line up.

According to Jake Rossen, the channel is set to go dark at the end of the month. Possibly making Dream 9 the last Japanese MMA event to be featured on U.S. televisions.

Currently HDNet reaches 15 million households.

If HDNet goes dark that will also affect Inside MMA. The show is one of the first original programs for HDNet. Inside MMA was built in the sports news cast format pioneered by ESPN's 'Live' format.

If HDNet goes black will Mark Cuban call Time Warner a 'thug'
