Indiana set to regulate MMA

July 1st, 2009 the state of Indiana will join the MMA community.
On that date the state will officially regulate mixed martial arts, requiring the athletic commission to certify fighters and having a certain standard of medical care available for participants at the event.
That leaves only seven states that do not officially regulate MMA, all in New England (with Wisconsin being the sole exception).
Welcome to the family Indiana.
