Cheick Kongo thinks he will be the one to take on Cain Velasquez at UFC 99 now that Heath Herring has pulled out of the fight. 

Kongo posted a facebook message today and MMA Junkie is running with it so we are too. 

Cheick Kongo (14-4-1) recently defeated Antoni Hardonk at UFC 97. In the aftermath of his victory many discussed the possibility of Kongo becoming a legitimate heavyweight contender. If Kongo can defeat Cain Velasquez then he may indeed be the next number one contender. 

Cain Velasquez is a former Arizona State wrestler. With his pedigree, and Kongo's poor history with wrestlers, Velasquez will be the early favorite in the fight.
