Fanhouse has a behind the scenes look at Dana White's NASDAQ visit.
Is it just me or is there a weird since of fake-happiness by the NASDAQ and THQ people? Like they know they are in big trouble but are holding on to hope.

Looked like every bit of “corporate ha ha” theater I’ve ever had to sit through. Though I think the CEO was really having fun.

Ford?
Out of all the carmakers, Ford is by far in the best position. Unless I’ve misunderstood your point. (Always possible)

The perception that Ford is doing well is kind of a misconception. They are losing loads of money (I can’t recall how many billions but its a lot). The reason ppl think they are doing well is bc they arent in as much trouble as the GM/Chrysler.
The reason why Ford can afford (I use the term loosely) to lose so much money is that before the economy blew up they started amassing as much cash as they could. They put the entire company up as collateral in order to get cash. So when your company is mortgaged, your selling off anything ppl would buy, cutting deals to lower cost and you are still losing money, things are not that great.
Basically THQ and Ford’s positions are somewhat similar that’s why I made the statement.
