Fred Durst tries to salvage career off the backs of UFC fans
Fred Durst and the newly reunited Limp Bizkit will play at Mandalay Bay the weekend of UFC 100.
"We are proud that our first show in the USA with the original line-up in eight years will be in Las Vegas at UFC 100. The ultimate fighting music has finally found its home with the Ultimate Fighting Championship."
The concert will air live on UFC.com.
Why are they doing this to us?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Playboy is up for sale. Which means Fred Durst is available on the mooch market. For some reason it looks like the UFC is buying what he is selling.
But I guess Dana White is a fan,
"Music is one of the things that makes the UFC experience so exciting, and I've always been a big fan of Limp Bizkit, so we are excited to have the group perform at UFC 100 event weekend,"
Really!? The guy is responsible for one of the worst covers in music history. Who lied about hooking up with Britney Spears. Really!?

This is actually worse than Canseco fighting in Japan.
In fact, I would trade Limp Bizkit performing at a UFC show for Canseco fighting on the card.
You want a “fight music” group reunion concert? Call all the members of Rage Against the Machine and get them back together. Have a Black Flag reunion. Hell, Public Enemy could do “Fight the Power” for an hour and it would be better than this.
UFC -1 for this decision…
