Tim Sylvia back at Affliction 3

According to MMA Fanhouse Tim Syliva will be fighting Paul Buentello on Affliction's third fight card dubbed 'Trilogy' this August. 

Tim Sylvia will have a busy summer. On June 13th Sylvia will box former WBO heavyweight champion Ray Mercer. That fight will take place in Alabama since the New Jersey State Athletic Commission refused to sanction the bout. 

Sylvia hasn't fought since July 2008 where he suffered a first round submission loss to Fedor Emelianenko.

I can’t stand watching Tim Sylvia fight. Hopefully, Buentello clobbers him!

tim can be entertaining when he wants to push the action…maybe now that its not for a belt he will get hungry. buentello should push him tho..never know it could be a boring fight or it could b exciting..its all up to tim

Will he still be payed the ridiculous purse he got for the Fedor fight? It was around 800K if I remember right. Surely Affliction can’t afford to pay that on a consistant basis. It’s not like Sylvia is a great draw.
