Tim Sylvia's legacy in ruins

All it took was ten seconds for Tim Sylvia's legacy to become a heaping pile of...well...you know what.
Tim "The Maine-iac" Sylvia showed up overweight and out of shape for his fight against former WBO boxing champion Ray Mercer. Mercer threw one punch and Sylvia came crashing down like a rotten tree.
It gets worse for Sylvia who will be unable to compete in Affliction's third event due to a medical suspension. Ironic considering Alabama doesn't have a commission to regulate MMA, which was the whole reason why Mercer and Sylvia fought in the state.
Ignore the recently floated idea of the UFC resigning Sylvia. The damage to Sylvia's persona is irreversible.
Besides why would the UFC bring back one of the least liked champions and fighters in the history of the promotion. The last thing the UFC needs is Sylvia hugging one of their up and coming fighters on his way to victory a la his fight with Brandon Vera.
Instead let's just wave goodbye to the fighter who creepily looked like the South Park Sea Otters.
