Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida are up for an ESPY
MMA Junkie is reporting that Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida are up for an ESPY award in the best fighter category.
Machida and Silva will be competing against Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley for the award. Anderson Silva is the reigning UFC middleweight champion and recently obtained a record nine fight win streak in the UFC. Lyoto Machida recently won the UFC's light heavyweight title and is currently riding a seven fight win streak in the UFC on top of never being beaten in his career.
Last year George St. Pierre was the first MMA fighter to be honored with a nomination. However Floyd Mayweather Jr. won the best fighter award.

This is terrible
No Fedor?
God I hate these zuffa zombies ruining mma. It’s no like Lyoto doesn’t deserve it, but Silva is having a bad year. Signing with zuffa doesn’t make you a great fighter, it makes you an overrated fighter. Even when a zuffa fighter is actually good, he is never that good.
