What's happening in Ohio MMA

 
Unfortunately I will be in St. Louis this weekend for Strikeforce Lawler vs. Shields. But for those of you still in the Buckeye state there will be plenty of live MMA action. 

The big event this weekend in Ohio is NAAFS' Fight Nite in the Flats V. This Pro/Amateur event features several former UFC fighters such as Sean Salmon, Ryan Madigan and Forrest Petz.

Fight Nite in the Flats V will take place at the Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio. Standing room tickets cost $30 in advance and $35 at the door. For more ticket information go here. The NAAFS will also have a fighter meet and greet from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. A purchase of any ticket gets you into the meet and greet. The first bell is scheduled for 6:30pm.  

Also this Saturday Extreme Cagefighting Challenge XXV holds an amatuer event at Bo Kimly's Martial Arts Alliance in Dublin Ohio (north side of Columbus). The doors open at 7:00pm with the first fight set for 8:00pm.  General admission tickets cost $20.
