WEC 41 Salaries and Bonuses

E060703au_medium

The fighter who received the largest salary at WEC 41 was not Urijah Faber nor Mike Brown instead it was Jens Pulver.

Jens Pulver earned $31,253 in what will most likely be his last bout. Pulver was submitted by Josh Grispi in the first thirty seconds of the first round. Pulver has lost four fights in a row and is 1-6 since September 2006.

Urijah Faber was the next highest paid fighter at $25,790. Mike Brown was right behind Faber at $24,256 though that included a $13,000 win bonus. Had Faber won he would of been the top earner for WEC 41.

Also Mike Brown and Urijah Faber both received $10,000 "Fight of the Night" bonuses. Top featherweight prospect, Jose Aldo, received a $10,000 bonus for his eight second knockout victory over Cub Swanson. Seth Diukin received the $10,000 bonuses for submission of the night. Diukin utilized the rarely seen flying triangle.

Full fighter disclosed salaries after the jump.
