(DREAM.10 Marius Zaromskis Def. Jason High)
Marius Zaromskis made an improbable run through the welterweight ranks of Dream's Grand Prix last night (or this morning take your pick).
First Marius defeated celebrated Japanese welterweight Hayato "Mach" Sakurai in the first semi-final of the evening. Then Zaromskis went on to defeat Jason High in the welterweight finals.
Top-ranked lightweight, Shinya Aoki, won his bout against Victor Ribeiro while former TUF season seven contestant, Jesse Taylor, defeated Dong Sik Yoon.
Finally former WEC middleweight champion, Paulo Filho, made a successful return from MMA after his weight making disaster at WEC 36 and defeated Melvin Manhoe

Zaromskis is a beast on the feet. I’ve seen him fight multiple times in Cage Rage. If you can get a video of his fight with Ross Mason, check it out. It’s one of the best fights/finishes I’ve ever seen.
Brilliant to see him get past Sakurai and win the GP. It’s always good to see a European fighter do well on the world stage.
