Tim Kennedy signs on to EA MMA 2010

Banning a former Army Sgt. from being in the UFC seems less than a prudent PR decision

Add Tim Kennedy to the list of fighters that you may never see in the UFC. The former Green Beret has signed on to be apart of EA's upcoming MMA video game (via MMA Payout).

Kennedy is preparing for his second Strikeforce fight, on Sept. 25. He also will appear in an EA Sports MMA video game as "Tim Kennedy, Army fighter," and he plans to stay involved in nonprofit organizations that advocate and care for wounded warriors

Kennedy is 10-2 in his mixed martial arts career and has fought for the IFL and now fights for Strikeforce.

Currently, there are reports that the UFC has threatened banishment from the UFC for every fighter that signs on to be apart of Electronic Arts upcoming MMA game. The game is scheduled for release in 2010.
