Brian Stann vs. Steve Cantwell III

I think the guy in the middle is going to win via photos.mmaweekly.com

Former WEC light heavyweight champions, Brian Stann and Steve Cantwell, will meet for the third time at The Ultimate Fight Night 19 in Oklahoma City on September 16th.

This will be the third time Stann and Cantwell have fought. The Brian Stann won their first bout at WEC 26 while Cantwell defeated Stann to win the WEC light heavyweight belt at WEC 36.

When Zuffa discontinued the WEC light heavyweight division Cantwell and Stann were folded into the UFC and were suppose to fight their rubber match at  The Ulitmate Fight Night 16  but Stann had to step out due to an injury.

Since then Cantwell is 1-1 in the UFC with a win over Razak Al-Hassan and a loss to Luiz Cane. Stann has yet to win in the UFC and dropped his first bout in the Octagon to TUF alum Krzysztof Soszynski.

Cantwell

I am a big Brian Stann fan…he’s a hometown guy here in NEPA. However, Cantwell is a future contender at LHW. Regardless, this should be an exciting slugfest!
