Why in the hell is Liddell going to be on Dancing with the Stars?

I can only think of two reasons why Liddell is going to be on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. 

1. Liddell is following the athlete retirement plan of Jerry Rice, Jason Taylor, and Emmit Smith. Not a bad idea but those guys were personable on camera and Liddell has never been the most interesting interview
2. Dana White still wants to Chuck to be a "star" and if Liddell can't fight anymore, or won't be fighting in meaningful bouts, then the least we can do is feature him on network T.V.

Now why the reasons why this a horrible idea.

1. Liddell has zero charisma outside the ring
2. Dancing with the Stars demo will never accept someone like Liddell. Rich Franklin would have been a better choice. 
3. Another Good Morning Texas incident would be awful. 

Liddell could be a dark horse candidate to capture the viewers hearts but I have a feeling he will be really quiet and doe eyed until he is cut in week 3, making this one of the weirdest PR moves in recent memory.
