UFC News and Notes

- DaMarques Johnson (9-7) vs. Peter Sobotta (8-2) is in the works for UFC 105. UFC 105 is scheduled for Manchester, England and Johnson recently appeared as a U.S. fighter on TUF 9: U.S. vs. U.K. Is Johnson's inclusion casting him as a heel or is he a sacrificial lamb for the German born, Sobotta.

- The Ultimate Fight Night 19 lost another fighter. Kyle Bradley (14-6) is out with an injury and will be unable to fight Sam Stout. Bradley recently defeated TUF 8 finalists Phillipe Nover at UFC 98.

Phillipe Nover will step in and fight Sam Stout. Fairly ironic development. 

- Remember when Lorenzo Fertitta told us that not fighting a team mate was simply not an option in the UFC. Well the teams are pushing back and saying, "hell no."

- There is a definite competition between Strikeforce and UFC for free-agent talent. MMA Weekly asks the question if Zelg Galesic (9-4) will be next.
