It was a sad finish to the grand prix. First Hioki gets injured, and then Sandro gets completely shafted, so that the Omigawa Cinderella storyline can continue. I’ll be curious to see how WVR tries to clean up this mess.

Going back to the days of Pride, I’ve had very little faith in the legitimacy of Japanese MMA. Too many questionable calls. Unfortunately, this reaffirms that lack of faith.
