UFC 105 is shaping up nicely
In the past few days a tidal wave of UFC 105 news became public.
We now know that UFC 105 will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez. Originally it had been rumored that Michael Bisping would fight Wanderlei Silva in the main event but Silva recently underwent a medical procedure and was unable to fight.
According to Inside Fights Michael Bisping (17-2) is still on the card and will fight former Pride standout Denis Kang (32-11-1). Bisping will most likely be the co-main event as the event is taking place in his native Manchester, England.
Fighter's Only is reporting that the UFC's second biggest U.K. product, Dan Hardy (22-6), will fight Korean fighter, Dong Hyun Kim (12-0-1).
Earlier this week it was reported that The Ultimate Fighter season nine winner, James Wilks (6-2), will fight Matt Brown at UFC 105.
All four of these bouts will most likely be on the televised card. The fifth televised fight could be fellow season nine alum, DaMarques Johnson (9-7), who is set to fight Peter Sobotta (8-2).
UFC 105 is scheduled for November 14th in Manchester, England. It will air via tape delay on Spike TV.

If these fights are correct, this is going to be a sad night for the British Fans in attendance.
First off, Kang is way too experienced and has just competed at a higher level for longer. It’s not going to be an exciting KO like Hendo gave us but it’ll likely be a grinding decision with Kang taking a the win.
I don’t like Hardy’s chances, either. Kim is way too good on the ground for Hardy to deal with.
The two Ultimate Fighter winners, Ross Pearson and James Wilks don’t have an easy road either. I definitely like Aaron Riley and Matt Brown in those respective fights.
I think they might want to pass out kleenex before the show starts.
i agree
going to be a real tough night for sure. i dont think bisping gets by kang unless there is another monumental robbery like the hamil fight.
i really like hardy but kim is going to give him fits and out school him imo.

Title fight on free TV?
I’ll take it! This should be a great event, especially with the rowdy Brit crowd.
If I’m not mistaken, this would be the UFC’s first European card w/o Marcus Davis.
