Pride Veteran Ricardo Arona (13-5) is set to fight Marvin Eastman (16-9) in Bitetti Combat 4 September 12, 2009 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, The event was to promote MMA in Brazil with the purpose bring children away from a criminal life and choose MMA as their profession. The event is supported by Governor Sergio Cabral as well as Paulo Filho, Vitor Belfort, Antonio Rogerio Noguiera, Pedro Rizzo and Jeff Monson to fight at the card it seem promising but with Belfort and Antonio Rogerio signing with UFC, and Jeff Monson vs. Pedro Rizzo in jeopardy. Time will tell if Strikeforce will allow Arona to stay on the card or if they will strike a deal with promoter Amuary Bitetti.
