WEC VP makes a weird statement

Michael David Smith interviewed WEC Vice President, Peter Dropic, regarding the recent cancelation and postponement of WEC 43.

One exchange stands out as particular interesting,

Where will this card take place?
We're still working on a location. We have several options and I'm working with different venues.

Is Youngstown still one of the options?
No, Youngstown is not available, unfortunately. They've got an event that day so we have to find another location.

WKR checked the Covelli Centre's (where WEC 43 was suppose to be held) event calendar for October and the 10th is open.

Of course it is always possible that the Jeff Dunham event on the 8th would interfere with the WEC preparing the stadium for the 10th but that isn't what Dropic said. Dropic explicitly stated that the Centre was booked on the 10th and that isn't the case according to their official website

yeah, there are rumors they werent moving tickets

Also the WEC seemed pretty desperate for star power as they were pulling out UFC and other sports athletes to try and bring out more ppl

I am 30 min. south of Cleveland and wouldn’t be the least bit offended if they flat out said it was a poor decision and that they regret scheduling the event in youngstown in the first place. Believe it or not honesty is still an admirable character trait.

I checked tickets a week ago and I was able to find front row first elevated section seats. I just didn’t feel like getting jacked for my rims before I got there.
