UFC could be headed to Vancouver

Photo

At yesterday's press conference Dana White mentioned the possibility of Vancouver as a future destination. Joe Ferraro of Sportsnet.ca has more details about the potential Vancouver show,

...the big story for Canadian MMA fans was the pending announcement that the UFC would be holding a pay per view event in Vancouver, at GM Place, likely in June of 2010.

It will be a great year for Van City - first the Olympic Winter Games, another great season by Roberto Luongo, and a UFC event. Trust me - if you are lucky enough to score a ticket to the event, you are in for the time of your life.

I have always wanted to go to Vancouver. Unfortunately I won't be able to wear my gang t-shirt Affliction threads.

You know I’ll be there… sans Affliction threads and not because they’re “gang related” but because they’re horribly ugly to begin with.

Shamelessly self-promoting since 1997...

You can always wear a XXXL powder blue RoccaWear jumpsuit and a crooked hat. I’m sure that won’t cause any problems.
