Werdum is back on Strikforce's August 15th card.

MMA Weekly is reporting that Fabricio Werdum (11-4-1) will fight Mike Kyle (12-6-1) on the Carano vs. Cyborg card.

It had previously been reported that Werdum would be off the card. Werdum was slated to fight Alistair Overeem who is still recovering from a hand injury.

Strikeforce should have signed Monson for this bout as it would have done more to flesh out their sagging Heavyweight division.

Here's the new trailer from Showtime for the Fedor-Werdum fight. Showtime deserves some credit for making a compelling trailer with little in the way of footage (thank you Sherdog for the photos). Then again Mauro's hyperbole goes crazy for Werdum at the end there, e.g., "HE'S SO FAST!" That's an awkward line to end your voice over with.
