UFC News and Notes

The week leading up to a numbered UFC event is always filled with a tons of news tidbits. Here is WKR's quick recap of what we have discovered over the past 48 hours. 

- Spencer Fisher vs. Joe Stevenson is being considered for UFC 104. This could be Fisher's break out fight and the stakes will certainly be high for both fighters. 

- WEC veteran, Brock Larson, will fight Mike Pierce at The Ultimate Fight Night 19 this September in Oklahoma City. 

- Tyson Griffin vs. Hermes Franca will be on the televised card of UFC 103. Cole Miller vs. Efrain Escudero will be relegated back to the preliminary card. 

-  Two more fights have been added to the UFC 103 preliminary card. Lightweights Jim Miller and Thiago Tavares will fight as will UFC newcomers Brian Foster and Paul Daley. 

- WEC 43 (I know its not UFC but it is Zuffa) full card has been announced. Full card below

• Raphael Assuncao (13-1) vs. Yves "Tiger" Jabouin (14-4)
• Scott Jorgensen (6-3) vs. Rafael Rebello (6-3)
• Wagnney Fabiano (12-1) vs. Erik Koch (7-0)
• Manny "The Mangler" Tapia (10-2-1) vs. Eddie Wineland (14-6-1)
• Anthony Njokuani (10-2) vs. Muhsin Corbbrey (7-3)
• Coty "Ox" Wheeler (10-1) vs. Charlie Valencia (10-5)

- MMA Junkie is reporting that Sean Sherk vs. Gleison Tibau has been moved from UFC 103 to UFC 104.
