Penn backtracks on steroid comments
Being absent on the day that B.J. Penn decides to accuse Georges St. Pierre of using steroids was clearly poor planning on my part.
Yesterday Penn was quoted in Kevin Iole's latest column, accusing the UFC welterweight champion of steroid use with zero proof other than his gut feeling. Since this is America all you need is a gut feeling to accuse someone of cheating.
In the above video Penn walks back from his previous statement without actually apologizing (kind of reminds me of steroid users who have been caught but won't tell us what they are apologizing for).
So there you have it, Penn does what Jerod Morris was crucified for (but really didn't do) so I am guessing that Ken Rosenthal gave B.J a stern lecture on Outside the Lines.
