"Mayhem" Miller back tracks on statement regarding a fight with Jake Shields

Oh that Jason "Mayhem" Miller. All he seems to do is cause mayhem. What a coincidence.

Over a week ago Miller claimed that he was set to fight Jake Shields for the Strikeforce interim middleweight title later this fall. Yet in a recent interview with MMA Fanhouse "Mayhem" qualified his previous claim.

"After I announced that, they told me that's not finalized," Miller said. "The fight business is very finicky. For some reason, my manager came back to me and said, 'They're not 100% sure.' I don't know. I would love to beat up Jake Shields."

Miller is also the host of the recent MTV hit show Bully Beatdown. The show started its second season late last month.

There is still a lot of ambiguity about Stirkeforce's fall schedule and this is just the latest chapter in all the confusing reports and announcements.

If he won't sign..

…maybe some of the actors who play the bullies on his show could sub in.
