Sean Sherk really is hurt
When Sean Sherk pulled out of his fight against Gleison Tibau at UFC 104 there was speculation that Sherk's history with the California State Athletic Commission may of had something to do with the sudden injury.
Dave Meltzer reported that the news of the injury reached the UFC and CSAC after Sherk was suppose to take a pre-fight drug test.
Sherk released documents to Sherdog.com in an attempt to remove whatever suspicion surrounds his injury.
The injury is painfully real, according to medical documents received by Sherdog.com.
Sherk suffered a "Grade II AC separation" in his right shoulder, according to an MRI report prepared by the Center for Diagnostic Imaging in St. Louis Park, Minn.
Sherk made it crystal clear that he was not skipping a drug test.
"I’m not dodging a drug test," Sherk told Sherdog.com Monday. "I just took a drug test three months ago. I know I’m going to get drug tested. I’ve been drug tested probably more than any other fighter in the world."

I doubted the notion he was dodging the tests. There is no way a fighter can earn a living by dodging tests.
