Rogerio Nogueira vs. Luis Cane at UFC 106 [Update]

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is set to make his Octagon debut at UFC 105 against top-ten light heavyweight Luis Arthur Cane.
Fighter's Only previously reported that Rogerio (17-3), a former Pride standout recently signed by the UFC, was targeted to fight on the Manchester fight card though at the time no opponent was reported. Speculation at the time centered around Thiago Silva or Luis Cane.
Sherdog is now reporting that Rogerio has verbally agreed to fight Luis Cane (10-1) though no contract is signed. MMA Junkie takes the report one step further and asks whether Rogerio vs. Cane will be the main event for UFC 105.
If Rogerio vs. Cane is slated to be the main event than the likely hood of a middleweight number one contender bout between Dan Henderson and Nate Marquardt seems remote.
Currently UFC 105 has a co-main event bout between local Manchester product, Michael Bisping, and Denis Kang. UFC 105 is set for November 14th and will air in the U.S. on Spike via tape delay.

UFC 105 is still without a main event and Henderson vs. Marquardt seems like the only rational choice. However, Dan Henderson is a free agent at the moment, thus he holds major leverage over the UFC.
