Phillipe Nover in a "must win situation"

When WKR first saw the UFC's tweet (pictured above) we instantly thought, "doesn't a 'must win situation' mean that bad things will happen if Nover loses?"
The obvious interpretation is that if Nover loses to Sam Stout at UFC Fight Night 19 then the UFC will give him the pink slip.
Seems a little harsh considering that Dana White once described Nover as "the next Anderson Silva."
With an 0-2 record in the UFC Phillipe is in trouble and he knows it,
"I always have that feeling like I'm skating on thin ice or hanging on a few strings with the UFC after taking two losses, and it's bad."
If Nover loses this fight the guillotine could drop at any second but there are two things going for Nover. First, he fought in the TUF 8 finale. Runner-ups usually get a little bit of breathing room, which leads me to the second reason why Nover shouldn't update his resume, Yves Lavigne. Lavinge's stoppage in the Nover-Bradley fight was an issue of contention and the UFC may be willing to give Nover some slack if he puts on a good show against Sam Stout.
Then again, if Nover eats a punch and goes g'night then we could be seeing Phillipe in the WEC.
