UFC Fight Night 19: Diaz vs. Guillard Results

UFC Fight Night 19  is tonight and the main card begins at 8 p.m. ET. WKR will be posting live results throughout the evening.

Fight Night 19 will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Melvin Guillard and Nate Diaz. Guillard is coming off of a controversial split decision victory over Gleison Tibau and is out to prove that he is back in the lightweight division. Nate Diaz is coming off two loses to wrestlers and needs to show that he can handled grapplers.

Roger Huerta may be fighting for the last time in the UFC against lightweight stand out Gray Maynard. Will Huerta end his UFC career on a high note or will he simply be a notch in Maynard's belt perhaps propelling Gray to a title shot.

  • Nate Diaz def. Melvin Guillard via submission (guillotine) - Round 2, 2:13.
  • Gray Maynard vs. Roger Huerta via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 30-27).
  • Carlos Condit def. Jake Ellenberger via split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
  • Nate Quarry def. Tim Credeur via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-27, 29-28).

**SPOILERS** for the under card will be displayed below.

LOL sounds funny

Ryan Jensen gets a controversial 1st round win over Steinbeiss. Jensen has guillotine choke, but Steinbeiss gives thumbs up to say he’s ok

Huerta’s not really known for his hands, but he wobbled Maynard pretty good early on. How soon do you think Huerta will be back to fighting.

It all depends. If Huerta is serious about acting I say18 months. If this is about money than SF or Bellator could offer him a sweet deal and we could see him fight as early as Dec or Nov

Doesn’t UFC have right of first refusal buil in? Or a lengthy non-compete, something like that?

Huerta looked really good but I am shocked by how Gray Maynard performed. He did really well. I thought Huerta was going to destroy him.

see I saw Gray going the wrestling route, which once he did he dominated. Still a fun fight
