Roger Huerta not done fighting
At UFC Fight Night 19 Roger Huerta possibly was fighting for the last time in the UFC. One question that was left unanswered was whether Huerta would make good on his promise to abandon fighting and pursue an acting career full time.
Sherdog talked to Huerta about his plans for the future.
"I can't go out with two losses in a row. I don't think I'm going to call it quits anytime soon. I'm still open to acting. Hopefully we get something going with that, but I'm not going to prioritize (acting) now. I'll still prioritize fighting. If the UFC wants me back, I'd be willing to go back."
What changed to cause Huerta to shift priorities, again. Most likely he over estimated his cross over appeal and couldn't find any bit roles in action movies. Roger still has some serious name recognition and could be a valuable asset for Bellator or Strikeforce so he will have some leverage in future negotiations. Unfortunately for Roger it appears that the UFC has washed their hands of Huerta.

I think when the scripts rolled in contained such roles as “Cage Fighter #3” and “Bystander #17,” old Hollywood Huerta had a change of heart. No matter what complaints he had about fighter pay, it sure beats SAG scale.
