Jake Shields calls out Miller's B.S.
Earlier Jason "Mayhem" Miller announced he was fighting Jake Shields for the interim Strikeforce middleweight. Then Miller backtracked saying,
"After I announced that, they told me that's not finalized," Miller said. "The fight business is very finicky. For some reason, my manager came back to me and said, 'They're not 100% sure.' I don't know. I would love to beat up Jake Shields."
That, plus other comments, pissed the shit out of Jake Shields. The former EliteXC welterweight champion weighed in and said this,
"He'll beat the piss out of me? He's the one that won't sign the contract. I would sign that fight tonight but he just wants to talk and act tough, but he's the one that won't sign. His manager tells us the fight is on, Miller has agreed and then I'm hearing he's decided he can't fight in October but would maybe do it in December. He thinks he's a star now but just like [on] the show, I was the only one doing the fighting while he just did the talking. He must think he's Cung Le now."
These two certainly know how to tell (whoops, can't spell) sell* a fight.

I am happy to hear he wants to fight because i find it frustrating that wee have not seen him fight more recently. Diaz was suppossed to go 3 times in 3 months, but Shields has had one catchweight fight. I know i am in the minority, but outside of Fedor I am more intrigues to watch his fights than anyone outside the UFC.
