Dan Henderson has NO contract with the UFC
According to Sports Illustrated's Josh Gross' twitter account, Dan Henderson is not going to be fighting Anderson Silva or Nate Marquart as at this moment in time he is just looking to work out details of a new contract with the UFC.
Gross tweets:
"According to a source close to Hendo, Dan is a free agent. The source said Dan wants to remain in the UFC. It makes the most sense.about 10 hours ago from web.
"But as of right now he doesn't have a contract with Zuffa. Negotiations were characterized as "slow." Dan's main focus is fighting A. Silva."
"I think something gets done. Maybe not right away, but Hendo needs the UFC because Silva's there. Plus, it's the only place to make PPV $$$.'"

this is pretty darn surprising and really blows goats. I’m sure they will work something eventually out but its just delaying future fights. “slow” negotiations are never a good thing.

Silva-Hendo II IS a "Big Fight"
Why won’t Silva’s camp just agree to this already?
After that epic KO over Bisbing and his TUF coaching stint Hendo’s stock among the casual UFC fans (read: those who drive up PPV buyrates) has never been higher.
This whole Silva/Hendo/Marquardt thing reminds me of the old 90210 Brenda/Dylan/Kelly love triangle.
Stop the madness!
