Evan Dunham Upsets Efrain Escudero
Evan Dunham captured some of the comeback magic that was on display earlier this evening as he submitted Efrain Escudero.
Efrain jumped out to an early lead as he dropped Dunham in the first round but like the Lawlor-Simpson fight, Eccudero's inability to finish his opponent came back to haunt him.
Dunham immediately turned the fight around in the second round as he took Escudero down and attacked with ground-and-pound. Going into the final round it appeared tied up at a round a piece.
Both fighters entered the round with a sense of urgency but Dunham was able to capitalize as he secured body triangle and transitioned it into an armbar. Initially Escudero refused to tap but finally did after his arm was hyper-extended. Efrain most likely suffered an injury to his arm .
Dunham keeps his undefeated streak alive and improves to 10-0 while serving the TUF season eight winner his first loss.
