MMA Live: Lesnar's trainer says Brock will be back and Henderson confirms fight with Shields
On the latest episode of MMA Live Brock Lesnar's trainer, Greg Nelson, confirmed that the UFC heavyweight champion will fight again and that Lesnar has continued training.
Lesnar was diagnosed with Diverticulitis back in November preventing him from defending his title against Shane Carwin. Rumors swirled that this illness would prevent Brock from fighting again. In the interval the UFC tapped Frank Mir to fight Carwin for an interim title.
Also on this episode newly acquired Strikeforce fighter, Dan Henderson, confirmed he will fight Jake Shields on Strikeforce's CBS card. That's good news for Stikeforce though someone might want to tell Jake who was apparently living under a rock.
Update: Sherdog says the fight has not been agreed to yet.
Update #2: Heavy.com passes along some more information about Brock Lesnar. One source says Lesnar weighs around 220lbs. Yikes!
