WEC Confirms Torres vs. Benavidez and Pulver vs. Vazquez

The WEC made official two previously reported fights for WEC 47 on March 6th, in Columbus, Ohio.

Former WEC bantamweight champion, Miguel Torres, will fight Joseph Benavidez and Jens Pulver will fight Javier Vazquez.

In the main event Brian Bowles will defend his newly obtained WEC bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz.

WEC 47 will mark the first time that the WEC will hold an event in Ohio. The event will coincide with the popular Arnold Sports Festival, which the UFC has tapped into in the three previous years.
