Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia headed to Dream?

Can I get a Sylvia vs. Arlovski IV

In the aftermath of Dynamite!! 2009 Dream event producer Keichi Sasahara recently mentioned the possibility of signing former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Tim Sylvia.

“Maybe after March, or even for the March event, I'd like to invite them over,” he said. “They've never fought in Japan yet, so I'd like for them to make their way over.”

Dream has a tiny heavyweight division featuring Josh Barnett, Alistair Overeem, Semmy Schilt, Katsuyori Shibata, Jeff Monson and Sergei Kharitonov. The inclusion of Arlovski and Sylvia could add some depth and create some intrigue. But it probably means we will get to see Sylvia vs. Arlovski IV.

Both Sylvia and Arlovski suffered brutal knockout losses in 2009.

Dream is the best place for Sylvia at this point, but I think Arlovski should stay with Strikeforce for the time being. To go to Dream would be to admit that he’s basically done as a relevant fighter, which I don’t think is true.

Arlovski isn't done yet - Sylvia is

Dream is partnered with Strikeforce are they not? basically Strikeforce just hired two more has beens – and sent them to their farm team.

Arlovski would k!ll Sylvia if they fought again though – Arlovski underestimated Rodgers – and he paid for it. He also got cocky against Fedor and could have won that fight. Arlovksi is still a beast of a fighter – he just has to get focused.

Josh Barnett

doesn’t have a deal with Dream. He signed a deal with rival Sengoku when they started a promotion because Josh claims he’s still owed money from FEG.
