UFC Primetime Returns
The UFC announced the return of their "Primetime" series for UFC 111's main event between welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and Dan Hardy.
The first episode will air on Wednesday, March 10th at 10pm ET on Spike.
This will mark the first time the UFC has run a "Primetime" series since UFC 94, which featured a welterweight super fight between Georges St. Pierre and UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn.
UFC 111 takes place on March 27th from Newark, New Jersey.
WKR believes that this is just the latest example of the UFC using the Newark location to show off their product to New York, which will take up MMA legislation again this year.
Press Release and UFC 111 card after the jump.

Cool
Everybody likes GSP pretty much, but I like Hardy and it will be cool to see him talk shit and crack jokes before GSP takes him out.
Hadoken!!
Hardy is...
…definitely a salesman so putting him on the Tube will be a good way to build up hype

hmmm
I thought Alves was going to shock everyone against GSP – I thought BJ was going to shock everyone too. I want to say Hardy will break my trend of failure – so I’ll do just that. Hardy wins by vicious KO and the crowd is dead silent.
after I’m wrong though and I strike out three times in a row – I’ll never bet against GSP ever again. I think GSP’s head isn’t into MMA 100% though, he’s too busy thinking about jumping up a weight class and doing the Olympics thing. Hardy is a pre-fight hype master of mind games.
Hardy takes this.
I think a little gum-bumping is great for this fight. I hope Hardy drops a little comment about Canada. GSP could use a little fire under him for this fight, because let’s face it: GSP is a much better athlete, a much better fighter, and Hardy is a slightly better boxer. GSP should be an overwhelming favorite (although Hardy has a punchers chance), but this little build-up show turns a somewhat boring ass kicking into a hyped event that hopefully Hardy’s mouth will make personal. I can only hope!
GSP and Canada
I’m Canadian – but for some reason I’m not a GSP nuthugger. Maybe it’s cause I’m from the West Coast and it’s the whole Quebec thing….I dunno.
GSP will most likely grease his way to a ground hump and pound victory. His recent fights – much like Rashad’s last fight – show that Jackson’s guys don’t want to trade and like to show off their wrestling.
GSP got boring – that’s why I’m disinterested.
Still – 90% chance he slaughters Hardy, I just like the underdog.
