UFC 108 Result: Cole Miller Submits Dan Lauzon Imada-style
In Cole Miller's last fight he suffered a flash knockout loss to Efrain Escudero and it looked like more of the same after the first forty seconds of his fight with Dan Lauzon.
Early in the first round Lauzon landed a flush left hook, which dropped Miller. It appeared that the fight was razor close to ending but Miller was able to defend himself on the ground and recover from the blow. Cole worked to his feet though Lauzon landed more punches and took Miller down.
On the mat Lauzon was able to take Miller's back but Cole rolled out and took Dan's back, which he promptly lost. Miller was able to salvage the situation as he worked for an inverted triangle while Lauzon attempted to posture up. Slowly Miller locked in the inverted triangle and began working for a kimura on Lauzon's arm. After several seconds Cole forced Dan to tap.
In the post-fight interview, Joe Rogan showed Cole Miller the left hook from Dan Lauzon that nearly ended the fight. Miller responded saying, "I don't even remember getting rocked."
