UFC 108 Results: Junior Dos Santos keeps climbing the heavyweight ladder by with a KO victory over Gilbert Yvel

At UFC 108 Junior dos Santos proved why he may be the top prospect in the heavyweight division who is probably worthy of a title shot in his own right. 

Dos Santos' latest victim was the newly acquired Gilbert Yvel who was making his UFC debut after a long run in Pride and brief showing in Affliction.

Two minutes into the first round Junior dos Santos was able to knock Yvel down with a wicked counter left hook. From there it was simply a matter of closing the deal with some ground-and-pound.

Dos Santos is now 4-0 in the UFC and has knocked out Fabricio Werdum, Gilbert Yvel, Stefan Struve and forced Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic to submit from punches. Certainly looks like a resume of a top contender.
