Corey Hill Back in Action and Wins (Update)

Cory-hill-broken-leg_medium

Corey Hill (2-2) makes him return to MMA since suffering a torture-porn style leg break at UFC Fight for the Troops in December of 2008.

Corey Hill will fight at Raging Wolf VI at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. For those of you who are proficient in geography you will notice that the fight is occurring in Niagara, which is in New York state where MMA is banned. Well, the Seneca Casino & Hotel is a Native American Casino, which means no state ban! The history buffs out there will know that the Seneca tribe was/is a member of the Iroquois Confederacy.

Hill was a cast member on the fifth season of The Ultimate Fighter. Corey's unique stature and athleticism made him a highly touted lightweight prospect though he had only been in one MMA fight prior to the filming of TUF 5.

After the reality show Hill fought three times in the UFC going 1-2. The last fight is where the injury occurred.

Update: Corey Hill (3-2) won an unanimous decision over Jason Trzewieczynsk at Raging Wolf VI.

When I first saw the pic, I thought it was photoshopped, but hen I saw the fight and I was like DAMN!! Then I though, hill’s 6’4" and weighs 155lb, the dude’s only bones, skin, and a litle bit of meat. He probably doesn’t eat well to make weight and barely has any muscle covering his leg, so it was bound to happen anyway. Now he and big tim have an advantage.

Politics buffs will know that the Haudenosaunee Confederacy (the real name for the Iroquois Confederacy) still exists, and that the Senecas are STILL members.
