Sherdog reports that Jay Hieron vs. Joe Riggs will be streamed live, and for free on EASports.com at 9:05pm ET.
While it would have been better if the Hieron-Riggs fight aired on the Showtime broadcast --considering that the winner of this fight will probably fight the winner of Diaz-Zaromskis next for the Strikeforce welterweight title-- at least Strikeforce is showing the fight live as oppose to waiting four months to release it online right before an upcoming title fight.
For Electronic Arts this is a great way to publicize their upcoming MMA IP, which is slated for release in September 2010.
