Chael Sonnen has some thoughts on Grappling

This was posted back in November but we here at WKR thought it would be fun to post it due to Chael Sonnen's recent comments regarding Anderson Silva. For those that can't watch the video transcript is below.
My hands are heavy and most importantly they are very fast. I have been called the fastest white man alive. I don't work submissions and not because I am trying to prove something I'm just frankly not very good at 'em. I am very good at getting away. I've never fought anybody whether it was in practice or competition who could hold me down. Even if I thought I could get a submission I'm not laying underneath a grown man with my legs spread on worldwide T.V. Some guys subscribe to that theory but I am a Republican and we don't do that.
So, sarcasm or serious? Actually, who cares!? That was freaking hilarious and whether Sonnen is in on the joke or not doesn't really matter.

Well notice that both Filho and Maia subbed him from their backs, so technically he’s right when he says no one could hold him down.
Also note that 7 of his 10 losses are subs, so no shit he’s not too fond of BJJ, cause he sucks at it.
He also says he’s not very good at subs…dude just knows what he is…a wrestler with boxing.

I never realized this guy was such a character. I guy like him could get ahead in the world. Not in MMA, but I’m sure somewhere.
What the hell kinda made up name is Chael anyway? What is that, Japanese? Is it short for Rachael?
