UFC 108 Results: Rashad Evans Survives Late Rally to Defeat Thiago Silva
Rashad Evans staved off a late come back from Thiago Silva to move one step closer to a title shot with his unanimous decision victory.
Evans used a mix of varied punches and timely takedowns to build a two round lead over Thiago Silva. Heading into the third round Silva needed to finish the fight in order to win.
With two minutes left in the round Thiago was certainly feeling the pressure as he stood in the middle of the cage and raised his hands in the air, taunting Rashad to brawl with him. When Evans refused to commit to action Silva attacked and ended up rocking Rashad. It looked as if Evans was close to collapsing and all that Silva had to do was unleash one last flurry and the fight would be his. But for whatever reason Silva failed to unleash that final barrage and Evans escaped the final round to win an unanimous decision. .
Evans will most likely fight fellow TUF 10 coach, Quinton "Rampage" Jackson in his next bout and Rashad even called out Jackson in the post-fight interview as an "actor".

A question and a statement...
Man that Vegas crowd turned on Evans quicker than they turn on their marriages
Why did they replay all the prelims twice instead of showing us gunderson v. Oliviera? did it suck that bad?
Even a broken clock is right two times a day.
